IPAF PAV
The IPAF PAV (Push Along Vertical) Course from Training 4 Safety uses a mix of classroom and practical training and assessment enabling operators to safely operate, select and conduct pre-use inspection of PAV lifts. Operators trained in the categories Static Vertical (1a), Mobile Vertical (3a) or Scissor Lift (old IPAF category SL) will also be able to use a PAV as long as they have been familiarised with the specific machine.
This course can be delivered on site, at your premises or at our dedicated training facility. We ensure class sizes are kept small so that we can pay particular attention to delegates’ needs. IPAF PAV courses generally last around four hours and employ a mixture of theory and practice, with a written and a practical test.
On completing the IPAF PAV course delegates will:
• Be aware of relevant Health and Safety legislation
• Be aware of the need to wear the correct PPE and
• Be aware of the need to refer to the relevant operational manual
